Riada Veterinary Clinic was established by Tom Houston in 1942.
The Houston family connection still remains strong with daughter Margaret, son-in-law Bert Allison and grandson Mark Allison all involved in the current practice.

our clinic
Riada Veterinary Clinic has been at 2 Queen Street since 1950, originally as a small annexe to the main dwelling, but now occupying the entire ground floor.
The town centre location with parking available has served the practice well, and provided a convenient service to the local community. The vast majority of all our clients are within 15 miles of the surgery premises.

We at Riada Veterinary Clinic specialise in care and treatments for companion animals, farm animals, and horses .
We provide a 24 hour emergency service. We are prepared to travel for up to 20 miles for emergency call outs.
Our welcoming surgery has all the latest surgical facilities.
Our vastly experienced veterinary doctors provide compassionate care for family pets, farm animals and large animals. We assist in the training of veterinary students particularly in developing their practical skills.
